CPR and First Aid training in St George

Certifications:


CPR/AED


CPR/AED certification is designed for the general workplace or public. Those who would typically sign up for this course include: personal trainers, factory workers, government employee, or community member looking to become certified in CPR and AED (defibrillator).

This course is approx. 2-3 hours in length, depending on the size of the group. Topics included are: CPR for adult, child and infant, use of the AED, rescue breathing, compressions only CPR, and airway obstructions. A certification card good for 2 years will be issued at the end of the course.


BLS CPR for Healthcare Provider


BLS CPR for Healthcare Provider certification is designed for those who work in hospitals, medical facilities, doctors offices, dental offices, or any other type of healthcare job. Topics include those taught in CPR and AED, but will also include rescue breathing and the use of the Bag Valve Mask. This course is approx. 3 hours in length, depending on the size of the group. Certification card will be issued at the end of the course and is a 2 year certification. Course can be either ASHI or AHA certification.


First Aid


Often First Aid certification is taught along side CPR/AED. First Aid topics include: assessment of a sick or injured person, controlling bleeding, stabilizing fractures and injuries, and emergency moves. This course is approx. 2 hours and when combined with CPR/AED 4-5 hours.


ACLS


Advanced Cardiac Life Support is designed for healthcare providers that work in surgical centers, hospitals, or other medical facilities in which advanced procedures are done. This course depending upon the size of the group can be done in one day approx. 12 hours. Recertification's/course challenges can be done in as little as 4 hours. 



PALS


Just like ACLS, Pediatric Advanced Life Support is designed for healthcare providers that work in surgical centers, hospitals, or other medical facilities in which advanced procedures are done on pediatric patients. This course depending upon the size of the group can be done in one day approx. 12 hours. Recertification's/course challenges can be done in as little as 4 hours.


OSHA Courses


We offer both General Industry and Construction Industry 10 & 30 hour trainings. We offer flexible scheduling options for both of these programs and can be broken up over several weeks. Ask about our workforce rebate program that will help pay for up to 40% of the cost of training.
